Chris always knew he wanted to pursue a creative, hands-on career, which led him to study Furniture Design & Making at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College.
At the bench, he cut his teeth as a Cabinetmaker for some of the country’s finest furniture workshops before setting up his own business creating bespoke furniture for some of the most prestigious residences and country homes.
Approached to lead Saint John as its founder, Chris has the creative freedom to broaden the scope of the projects he works on and has built a team to realise his vision.
Modest and passionate about his work, Chris is driven by a simple desire to create beautiful, well-considered work using the best materials and finest craftsmanship. A mind buoyed with eclectic design tastes, his depth of knowledge helps guide clients to the most successful expression of each commission. And above all, he believes that craftsmanship and the natural beauty of the materials speak for themselves.
