Working in collaboration with our client’s interior designer, we developed the aesthetic and technical detailing to bring this beautiful dressing room to life.
Cabinet internals comprise drawers, shelves, handbag and shoe storage all in European oak with a white tinted lacquer finish. Externals were spray painted in Farrow & Ball Manor House Grey.
Doors and drawer fronts feature fabric-wrapped panels and brass trim detail, with handles in solid brass. A central island featured a glass topped display shelf and upholstered seating. A cantilevered dressing table includes a leather and glass top, fabric drawer fronts with brass handles and trim detail.
In keeping with its original design, we helped transform this historic mansion to its former glory.
Working with the architectural and interior design team, we were appointed to create the dressing rooms, kitchen, freestanding cabinets for both media room and cigar rooms, boot room and library for this extensive project.
Stained European oak was used extensively in many of the rooms. A bespoke cabinet installed in the vast library integrates architectural doors, a rail and ladder, and looks as if it’s always belonged; as does the large display cabinet created for the Whiskey and Cigar room.
Saint John created a bespoke luxury kitchen in oak, with a smooth spray-painted finish and brass detailing. The central island dominates the room, featuring an end-grain butcher’s block cutting board with seating around the Belevedere marble breakfast bar. Integrated kitchen appliances included the AGA, ovens, hob, wine fridge, fridge freezer, and boiling water tap.
Adjoining the kitchen, the snug features a large fitted TV cabinet with spray-painted finish and bronze inlay detailing, all designed, created and installed by Saint John.
At the heart of this impressive riverside home, Saint John was commissioned to design, create and install a bespoke kitchen and pantry.
Working collaboratively with the lead architect, the kitchen features a large island with a bottle trench at its centre. A freestanding pantry dresser in maple features a slate worktop, open shelving and storage to the door backs.
Embracing our client’s passion for cooking, a number of bespoke details have been incorporated into the final design including knife blocks, utensil rails and end-grain maple chopping blocks. The door fronts are finished with a spray-painted lacquer with cabinet internals, drawers and scooped drawer handles in maple. Painted glass splashbacks feature behind the stone, with worktops in Caesarstone Georgian Bluffs.
Saint John designed and installed fitted cabinetry and furniture throughout this contemporary styled home, comprising master bedroom, dressing room, bathroom, sitting room and study.
Materials and colour palettes are eclectic in style, with whitewashed herringbone oak veneers to the master dressing room and polished concrete worktops to bathroom vanity cabinets. Walnut and bronze are showcased in the study, with spray-painted lacquer finishes to the sitting room and entrance hall display cabinets. Copper log bins are featured within the sitting room cabinetry.
